in the end the method that worked for us (Amongst other things) was to produce two spf records of the txt kind. One for our server and one for our office which doesn’t currently host a mail server but it wouldn’t work without it.

I have tried deveral times to contact them to find out why, only to receive automated responses not giving me any clue what to do.

The sites were developed to raise money for charity, 50% of all profits are donated to charity and do not send out emails other than confirmation emails for registration and notifications of auction listings, bids and sold items etc.

I don’t know what I can do!

We all know MS had done nothing original or good in the first place, but despite all that they got to be where they are.

Why?

Things one can do;

1. Ditch everything made by MS.
2. Do not use anything provided by MS.
3. Tell your friends.

And as a final poke back in their eyes;

4. REJECT each and every email sent by anyone using Hotmail, Live or any other domain owned by MS.

Bring MS down to their knees. You made them what they are today, you can bring them down the same way.

Speaking of Microsoft, I am surprised you have not had a rant about their latest patent. They have now blatantly patented how every search engine has been working for years. Everyone on open source, working to make them richer when they steal (and get allowed to) by these idiots in government offices…. And no, it’s definately not just the US offices that need a serious influx of common sense and the ‘jobs worth’ knocking out of them.
