Welcome to Symsys Inform – Reviews
You’ll notice in the links bar on the right hand side all the pages within the reviews section. When reading a review you can leave comments regarding it but we do please ask no spam and no flaming the reviewer/review, obviously that doesn’t mean you can’t say that you don’t like the review or you think something is wrong, just keep it polite please.

Konqi the Dragon
Symsys writes the majority of it’s own reviews however it does also have contributors who are not employed by or in some cases particularly associated with Symsys themselves. Although we try to make sure every review is proof read within a reasonable time of being posted, we accept no responsibility for the content of those reviews and we do not in any way endorse any opinions or conclusions given in them if written by a third party author, unless otherwise stated.
Linux Distro Reviews
We decided it was time to review the current Distributions and post our findings here for our users and customers, to help them decide which distribution might be best for them.
Our tests were performed using Virtual Machines in a program called Virtual Box, we used the non-Open Source version of the program as this has a LOT more features to properly reflect a normal PC hardware and user environment and therefore better reflecting the environment our customers would use.

If you care to take a look at distrowatch.org you will also find release announcements for all of the major distributions as and when they are released and some of the lesser known ones as well as specialty distributions for Firewalls and other specific purposes.
